[Hank wipes his lip off with the back of his hand before he looks at Connor. Despite his griping over text, he's not unhappy to see him this time.]
...Yeah. Guess I am. Could use a change of scenery after all that.
[He stands and waves to the bartender, who thanks him-- it seems Hank had a role in breaking up a fight that could have gotten a lot worse. Hank balances himself with a hand on Connor's shoulder.]
[Hey, no argument, that's... Either a good sign or maybe a bad one, he's not totally sure. He'll try and take it as a good one for now, as he lets Hank use him for balance and is ready to grab him if necessary.]
Okay. I'll drive.
[As if it has to be said, but still. And as soon as they're out in the parking lot--]
[Grumbles a little but digs his keys out of his pocket and drops them into Connor's hand. After that, he stumbles and shifts his handhold to putting the weight of his arm around both of Connor's shoulders.]
Assholes being assholes. Some prick and his buddy didn't like that the "no androids allowed" sign was taken down. They hauled ass out of there not long after starting the fight. I already sent Collins their descriptions.
[This is all going surprisingly well, and Connor's almost looking for a catch, but he's just going to accept it at the moment as he reaches up to steady Hank's arm around his shoulders.
And although he's not sure if he likes the idea of Hank getting into a fight about something as simple as an anti-android sign--or lackthereof--he still feels a distinct sense of happiness at how much things have changed. It wasn't that long ago that Connor had ignored that sign himself to step into the bar, in search of a Lieutenant that was definitely not much of a fan of androids.]
It seems you've handled everything.
[Even inebriated, which is impressive. But now he can just focus on worrying as they approach the car--]
How's your eye?
[He's asking instead of scanning, be proud of him.]
