It works quite effectively.

[He's shameless about it, although that's likely because it's been passive for the most part; sure, he's used looking attractive and disarming to his advantage in getting people to trust or sympathize with him, but it was a backup to the rest of his negotiating skills and not the main point. He's not sure that, now that he's deviant, he would be willing to even go as far as fake flirting.

But it's unlikely a situation will ever happen that requires testing it anyway, and so he just ignores the entire thought. Instead he refocuses on what he's here to do, which is keep testing the soil, and he moves to a different area to do so.]

I'm adjusting. I've been far more fortunate in my situation than many others were and are.

[In that he's been basically left to his own devices in Hadriel, and allowed to slowly figure things out on his own. Of course, there's also the downside of being completely cut off from others of his species, but he also isn't at constant risk of being murdered for existing.]

For as terrible as Hadriel has been in some ways, in being true to herself... Well, she can't actually really complain. ]

[Unsure is definitely a way to put it, but he doesn't want to get into it too much and so he just sort of nods before diverting from the conversation.]

I've checked a few areas, and I can transfer the chemical analysis to your phone if you don't mind.

[He holds out a hand, clearly wanting her phone; it'll be easier to just transfer it that way, than to bother putting it on his phone and then sending it to her.]

[And as he says that, he allows his synthetic skin to retract from his fingertips, touching them to to her phone and transferring the information in a moment.]

[ There's a mental record scratch moment at the sight of his hand. Sure, he'd licked dirt and shown off his cool LED and she knows he's an android but it's another thing entirely to see the skin beneath the synthetic projection. ]

Woah, dude. That's super cool.

[He smiles just a little at that, though he soon pulls his hand from the phone and his synthetic skin covers his fingers once again.]

It's convenient to connect with electronics in such a way, and androids can also share information and memories through contact.

[Although obviously that isn't a thing here.]

[ She wonders, actually, if he might be able to hook up to things in the lab... Alphys would probably find that pretty cool, too. ]

I'll say. The memory share thing seems kind of, I don't know. I don't think I'd like but I can see where it'd be handy.

[He's definitely considered trying, but hasn't done it for a few reasons. Yet.]

That's understandable. Sharing memories and information that way isn't normal for your species.

[He presumes anyway, but he thinks that's probably a safe guess at her response. But for androids, it's something built into them; android culture hasn't exactly had much of a chance to develop--and might never have the chance--but it's starting out with interfacing being a normal thing for them.]

Not exactly, no- There are some yokai that deal with memories but not like that. I generally gotta' share my memories the old-fashioned way.
